Welcome from me too fishy.

That was useful information on the tracker blockers in the Forum Problems thread.  As I use Firefox on my laptop it is something I will keep an eye out for if I start to have problems.

Welcome to the forum! Glad to hear from you (in another topic).

This might be a record. First post six and a half years after joining the forum! Don't feel you have to leave it so long before your next utterance.

Hi Jack

It was a great match though probably not from your point of view.  England now have to play your near neighbours who are the team to beat.

I thought your version of the limerick was excellent laugh  & look forward to some more epitaphs Smiley

There was a young man from Australia
Rigged out in his golfing regalia
He took up his stance
Without a backward glance
And hit the ball to Westphalia

Yes I know it's naff (yes I did look it up!)

Had a smashing day with Zoe.  We went for a massage & came home for some dinner.  She's just gone off to look at the sky.

Off to slump in front of the telly with the second half of a bottle of extremely average sauvignon blanc Grin

Hi Alan. Yes I have had the forum feed fail to load recently. I can't say for sure when the problem began.
I use a Windows 10 pc with Mozilla Firefox browser.

Problem was occurring for me on the but not on

Clearing the cache and temporary internet files (followed by reboot) did not fix the issue. However, I run an extension within Firefox called 'Privacy Badger' which blocks trackers. It turns out that Privacy Badger had flagged the domain as a potential tracker.

After going into the options for Privacy Badger and marking as 'allowed' I refreshed the page and found the forum feed magically re-appeared  Smiley.

I'm not sure what Chrome does with trackers by default. Perhaps, like Privacy Badger, it (or some other app) has mistakenly blocked the domain.

Hope this info is of some use to you.

Thank you Jack.
When I did it I thought it was a bit of a challenge till the proverbial penny dropped.
It was almost as difficult as some of your sign off to penny  Grin

In Search of a Sandhill Crane
by Keith Robertson

Brilliant! I think youíve cracked it. The synopsis isnít exactly as I remember but I canít imagine thereís another book that would be so similar. All I need to do now is find a copy that doesnít involve expensive postage costs from the US. Thanks so much.
